Choose an adventure: how to manage the plot and get different outcomes
"Choose an adventure" is a chat tool that launches a fictional interactive adventure with sequential state. On each turn you get three action options, and your previous decisions affect future events. In this guide we'll explain how to formulate requests, compare alternatives and maintain story logic. All examples are fictional and provided for illustration.
Open tool: Text adventure ↗How the tool works and what it can do
"Choose an adventure" works as a chat: you describe an idea and style, and the tool offers three action options on each turn. State is preserved within the dialogue: if the hero gets a key, they keep it until you decide otherwise. This allows building a coherent story, not a set of random scenes.
The interface is simple: two text fields. In the "Your text or idea" field (up to 8000 characters) you set the premise, hero and goal. In the "Tone, style or format" field (up to 1000 characters) — genre, atmosphere and restrictions. After pressing the generate button the result appears in a separate panel. It can be copied or downloaded as a plain text TXT file.
The tool creates text only. It does not generate images, audio or video. Additional features such as vector images (SVG, PNG), speech (eSpeak WAV) or subtitles (SRT) exist separately and are not linked to the adventure. Do not expect DOCX or PDF export, batch processing or automatic saving — all of this is unavailable.
Initial query: "Start an adventure in a floating city by sea. The hero is a young inventor looking for his missing father. Style: steampunk, mystery, a little humor."
How to change inputs to get different variants
Diversity of options depends on how accurately you describe the world and the hero. Start with a basic idea, then vary details: place, time, profession, goal. For example, instead of a floating city you can take an underground city or a space station — this immediately changes the set of possible actions.
Style also affects options. If you specify "comedy", sentences will be funny; if "horror" — dark. You can combine genres: "noir with cyberpunk elements". A short query gives more general options, a long and detailed one — specific.
It is useful to set constraints. For example, "the hero cannot fight" or "magic is forbidden". This narrows the range of actions and pushes the tool toward more inventive solutions. Constraints are considered during generation if they are explicitly written in the fields.
Query: "The hero is a librarian in a world where books are forbidden. Style: dystopia, tension. Constraint: the hero cannot leave the library."
How to compare three options on each turn
The tool always offers three options. They may differ by type: aggressive, cautious, creative. Your task is to evaluate possible consequences. One option may lead to conflict, another to information, a third to an unexpected ally.
Compare options by criteria: risk, reward, match with the hero's character. If you want to explore the world, choose an action with movement. If you want to reveal a secret — with dialogue. The tool does not give hints, but you can request clarification by writing in the input field: "What will happen if I choose option 2?"
Remember that choices affect state. Aggression may lead to enemies, help — to allies. This creates a sequence. To get different branches, you can start over with the same inputs but choose a different option.
Options: 1) Open the door by force. 2) Knock and introduce yourself. 3) Hide and observe. Compare: the first — risk, the second — dialogue, the third — stealth.
Choice and its consequences
After comparing you choose one of the three options. Write the number or copy text into the input field. The tool will continue the story, taking your choice into account. Consequences can be immediate or delayed: for example, you saved a character, and after two turns they repaid the debt.
To track state, keep notes. The tool does not automatically save history, but you can copy text to a separate file. This helps avoid contradictions. If you notice an inconsistency, point it in the next request: "Remember that the hero has a key."
Choice also affects tone. Aggressive actions make the story darker, peaceful — lighter. The tool adapts, allowing you to manage the atmosphere.
You chose "Knock and introduce yourself". The tool responds: "The old man opens the door. He is surprised, but invites you in. You notice a map on the table."
Refining the adventure and regenerating
If options seem repetitive, refine your request. Add details: "The hero is afraid of water" or "A festival is taking place in the city". This enriches the context. You can also change the style: "Make the humor darker."
Regeneration with the same inputs may give different options, as the model is probabilistic. But for stability it is better to change inputs. If you want a specific type of options, specify this in the style: "Suggest options related to magic."
Don't be afraid to experiment. The tool allows quickly iterating scenarios. Copy successful fragments to TXT. Remember that answers may contain errors, so check the logic.
Refinement: "Add that there are flying ships in the floating city. Style: adventure, dynamics."
How to check the result and avoid errors
After generation check if the story matches your request. Pay attention to sequence: do new events contradict previous ones? If so, point this in the next request.
Make sure there are really three options and they are different. Sometimes the model may repeat. In this case rephrase the request. Also check that the style is maintained.
The tool does not guarantee perfect logic. It may invent non-existent details. Your task is to guide it. Use short correcting requests.
Check: "In the previous turn the hero did not have a sword, but now he does. Fix."
Tool limitations and realistic expectations
The tool creates text only. It does not generate images, audio or video. Do not expect photorealistic pictures. Vector images (SVG, PNG) and speech (eSpeak WAV) are available as separate functions, not linked to the adventure.
No DOCX or PDF export, no batch processing, no automatic saving. All you get — text in the panel. Copy manually. Also no registration and no premium plan.
The model may make mistakes. Queue and availability may vary. Do not use the tool for making important decisions. It is a game.
Do not ask to generate a video. Instead describe the scene in text.
"Choose an adventure" is a flexible tool for creating text stories with three options per turn. To get different variants, change criteria, compare alternatives and refine requests. Remember the limitations: text only, no automation. Use examples as a basis for your own experiments. Good luck in your adventures!
