The tool does not automatically count syllables and does not mark where you made a mistake. It relies on how you describe the scene, mood and form.
Important to understand the format limitations. Output is text only. Export is available in TXT, images only SVG and PNG, speech eSpeak WAV, subtitles SRT. No DOCX, PDF, batch processing, auto-saving, registration and premium plan. Model responses may contain errors, queue and availability change.
Practical conclusion: the tool is well suited for quick drafts and educational exercises, but final syllable check and meaning is done by a human. If you need strict meter, count syllables manually or in an external editor.
Example request: input — «rain on an empty railway platform»; style — «calm, observant»; length — «short lines».
First error: too general input
The most common problem — vague description like «nature» or «sadness». The model receives too little specificity and gives general phrases that do not form a living image. Haiku is based on detail: smell, sound, object, time of day.
Simple fix: add one or two specific elements. Instead of «autumn» write «wet leaves on a bench by a pond». Instead of «loneliness» — «empty platform, the last train has gone». Specificity does not lengthen the request, but sharply increases line quality.
Remember the limit: the first field accepts up to 8000 characters, details field up to 1000. More than enough for an accurate scene description. You do not need to retell the whole story — haiku lives in a single moment.
Weak input: «autumn». Improved input: «autumn, wet leaves on a bench by a pond, evening».
Second error: contradictory style requirements
The «Tone, style or format» field is easy to overload. If you write «triumphant, ironic, childish and philosophical» simultaneously, the result becomes unpredictable. The model will try to combine incompatible and lose wholeness.
Choose one leading mood and, if necessary, one refinement. For example: «calm, observant» or «dry, restrained». Such a request gives smoother lines than a list of five adjectives.
If style is not important, leave the field empty — the tool will offer a neutral variant. An empty field is better than a random set of words that will spoil the tone.
Overloaded: «sad, happy, epic, minimalist». Better: «quiet, contemplative».
Third error: confusion with length and syllables
The «Duration or length» field sets the general size, but does not guarantee the classic 5–7–5 scheme. In the Russian language strict syllable counting is ambiguous: unstressed vowels, contractions and compound words are counted differently. In Japanese moras also do not match familiar syllables.
Therefore do not expect the tool to automatically give perfect 5–7–5. If it is important for you, indicate it in the style, for example «5–7–5 guideline», but check the result manually. The tool does not show a syllable counter.
Practical approach: first get the image, then edit the lines to the desired rhythm. Often it is enough to replace one word to approach the scheme without destroying the meaning.
Line «rain taps on the roof» may be read as 5 or 6 syllables depending on pronunciation — this is normal uncertainty.
How to fix unsuccessful result
If the result is weak, do not rewrite the whole request right away. First refine one variable: add a detail to the input, narrow the style or change the length. This will help you understand what exactly affected the lines.
Second step — edit the text manually. Remove unnecessary adjectives, leave one strong image per line. Haiku does not tolerate explanations: if a line proves something, it is better to shorten it.
Third step — check whether the connection between the lines is preserved. The first line sets the scene, the second gives a twist, the third leaves an aftertaste. If the third line simply repeats the first, replace it with an observation or a question.
Was: «rain goes, I am sad, everything is bad». Became: «rain on the platform / umbrella already closed for a long time / train will not come».
Checking the result and applicability boundaries
Check three things: is there a specific image, are there no repeats, does the text read aloud. Read the haiku slowly — if you stumble on a word, replace it. If the lines sound the same, change the rhythm.
Remember that the tool does not guarantee literary quality and does not replace an editor. It does not check facts, does not know your context and may give banality. Model responses may contain errors, queue availability changes.
Do not use the tool for legal, medical or financial formulations where precision is needed. Here we only talk about short poetic texts. For educational purposes it is useful to compare several runs and choose the best option manually.
